We have produced here regularly since 2021, in the Grand Ballroom, the Davidson Ballroom, the exhibit halls, and the 200-level rooms. Your production manager already knows the building.
Spaces we run regularly: the Grand Ballroom, the Davidson Ballroom, the exhibit halls, and the 200-level meeting rooms.
Stage, screens, sound, and lighting built for the room and approved in a 3D rendering before load-in.
Matching AV across the 200-level meeting rooms.
Exhibit hall builds with show video, sound, and lighting.
Evening and morning programs with the right look and sound for each.
Owned Absen 2.6mm walls, ground-stacked or rigged, flat or curved, with seamless 90-degree corners when the design calls for them.
Show video and playback built around your program, then run on site by our team.
One full-time production manager owns your event from advance through load-out. At Music City Center, that person already knows the dock schedule, the service elevator, and the CP Rigging handoff.
Every crew member is vetted and trained, with a specialist in each role, so a load-in through the docks and up the service elevator is routine.
Audio, video, LED, and lighting come from our own warehouse, so one team rigs, powers, and runs the same system from the first cue to the last.
Request any change at any time. If it saves money, we credit your final invoice. If it costs more, we tell you before we bill you. Venue-billed items follow venue terms, and we flag them as early as we know them. Choose one bill and one point of contact, or pay venue items direct. Your call.
Video: Absen LED walls, Barco projectors, Panasonic PTZ and shoulder cameras, Ross switching. Audio: DiGiCo and Allen & Heath consoles, d&b audiotechnik and JBL speakers, Shure wireless. Lighting: grandMA2 and grandMA3 control with Martin, Chauvet, and Elation fixtures.
Program history at Music City Center
★★★★★“The venue was changed 57 days out to MCC and on top of that the number of attendees and amount of production needed, nearly doubled. ... Without skipping a beat, the Orange Thread team made the necessary adjustments, put in tons of overtime and helped us pull off an event that at times seemed to be impossible. And they did it with incredible style!”

Your production manager has run these rooms before, so load-in paths, rigging coordination, and power plans are settled before your first call.
We use the Music City Center docks. Semi trucks and box trucks pull in without trouble, and no forklift is needed. The venue service elevator opens into the ballroom corridor, so gear reaches the room fast.
The venue supplies power. We size your load once the scope is set and give you an estimate up front.
CP Rigging is the venue’s exclusive rigging provider and supplies truss and labor. We work with their team often and know the building’s weight ratings and rigging limits, so we design inside them from the first drawing.
Rigging and power run through the venue. Beyond those, we find outside AV companies work freely in the building, and we have not been charged a supervisor fee for outside load-in. Every venue charge is flagged in your estimate before you commit.

Rigging and power sit on their own venue-billed lines in ours, so you can compare like for like.

Not if we can help it. At Music City Center the venue bills rigging, through CP Rigging, and power, so we list both separately and flag them before you commit. If your scope changes later, savings come off your final invoice and added costs reach you before we bill them.
Changes are normal for us, and the change guarantee covers them. Our first Music City Center event moved into the building 57 days out and nearly doubled in size, and we delivered it across the Grand Ballroom, the Davidson Ballroom, and the exhibit halls.
